We have had a wonderful ‘Young Voices’ experience at the Genting Arena in Birmingham. Our Key Stage Two children learnt so many songs, and spent the afternoon rehearsing with 6,000 other children. In the evening, the parents arrived for a fabulous concert, and our children made us so proud with their effort, energy and enthusiasm.
Seth gave us a summary of the Young Voices experience…
“I liked how much everyone had fun and also how we sat next to other schools. We all sang lots of songs and my favourites were Pop Medley and ‘Name that Toon’. I also liked ‘Singing Together’ because it was all about sharing and singing with lots of other people and that is just what we did. I liked the acts, too. The beat boxers were amazing, and we could not believe they made all the sounds without any instruments. We enjoyed doing all the moves to the songs and I liked how Andy helped us in the rehearsal. The evening was joyful, exciting and EXCELLENT.”
