Over the coming weeks you will be able to see the progress of our poppy field, commemorating 100 years since the end of World War 1. Our Art Club have made the soldiers, expertly guided by Anabel. The leaves of our poppies contain messages and memories, many of them linked to the impact of war-time within our own families. We hope you enjoy sharing this special display at the front of the school. It will continue to grow right up until November 11th.
We are also proudly raising money through the sale of beautifully knitted and crocheted poppies.
Thank you again to Isabelle’s nana who has made over 100 poppies, and has raised over £100 already. Issy has also crocheted poppies, and we are so proud that we have raised money for such a worthy cause.
We thank everyone who has contributed to our meaningful and thought-provoking Remembrance commemorations.
