This year we have been unable to share our Harvest in assembly, but we have had a wonderful display of harvest produce that has been brought into school. Our pupil leadership team have organised all the produce into harvest boxes and this week we delivered around the village. We have had so many lovely comments from our residents, praising the children and thanking the school for their kindness.

The pupil leaders have felt rightly proud of their organisation:

“I am so happy that we could go and deliver. I feel proud that we made so many people so happy.”

“I feel quite emotional about how pleased they were to receive the Harvest boxes.”

The leadership team are now looking forward to planning a memorable ‘Remembrance ‘ for the school and village communities.

We had a lovely afternoon doing all sorts of creative activities in our classrooms...and outside!
We are thinking about all the things that we have to say 'Thank You' for, and we will be putting together a lovely display for the front bank, so that we can share some of our work with the wider school and village community.
We all had a lovely afternoon, painting stones, writing creatively and doing some beautiful watercolour pictures on the bunting.
We can't wait to share our work with you!

As ever, our children have amazed us with their artistic talents! Take a look at the artistic achievements...
Our youngest children have been painting faces and making flowers, and we all love the display in the classroom:
"It makes me feel happy just looking at it."
In Year 1 and 2 the children have painted beautiful watercolours of Winnie the Pooh, showing excellent skill with the watercolour paint. In Years 3 and 4 the children have used watercolour and ink to create cartouches in Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, and books for their class bookshelves.
What inspiring work from everyone!
