We aim to be a nurturing, creative school at the heart of our community, where all are enabled to achieve their best. We celebrate our differences, we value each individual and we encourage kindness and respect from all. Our Christian values underpin all our learning, and the depth and breadth of our curriculum enriches our children and enables them to embrace ‘Life in all its Fullness’. (John 10:10)
The curriculum we have planned for our children inspires creative learning in all subject areas. It is also relevant to their lives and seeks to embed fundamental British values, which are woven throughout all areas of the curriculum. Our approach encourages the children to develop a deep understanding of the world we live in, and to use and develop their knowledge in relevant and meaningful ways, building on experiences and developing cultural capital. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of all learners, and to enable ambition and aspiration in all. At its heart is the development of the ‘whole child’, ensuring that our curriculum has lasting impact on the lives of our children, encouraging all children to respect one another and to embrace ‘Life in all its fullness’.
